Aquamarine

Aquamarine is associated with the moon, the colour turquoise, and the element water. It is associated with the god Poseidon/Neptune. It helps with psychic ability, courage, peace, and purification.

Aquamarine is known for enlightenment, spiritual awareness, and making you more in tune with your own emotions. It is great for helping sooth your mind from any worries or stress, it is great for heartache, as well as helping to ease physical pain and discomfort.  It is said to help you with your relationships, be it romantic or platonic. If you are experiencing self doubt or any sort of turmoil aquamarine can counteract it making you feel at peace. This stone is said to increase your intelligence which will help you come up with quick solutions which should help you in your work/school/life in general. This crystal is thought to have such high positive vibrations that it can overpower evil making it a very good protective stone as well.

When it comes to helping your physical body it is thought that it is an all purpose healing stone. It is said that aquamarine is good to have around if you are pregnant as it helps protect the mother and baby from harm. It is also said to help protect the fetus and prevent miscarriages. Aquamarine is also great for a sore throat or you can use to to complement any treatments for thyroid problems and swollen glands. If you are experiencing aching muscles or tired bones you can try sleeping with aquamarine in the same room as you or under your pillow, or you could hold it over/on the source of the pain for a duration of time.

When it comes to the chakras you can use aquamarine to help heal the throat and the heart chakra. Which chakra your personal aquamarine crystal will be best for healing is dependent on the hues of colour it has. If your aquamarine has more blue tones then it may be better fit for the throat chakra, if it is more green then it may be better suited for the heart chakra.

Colour Correspondences

Hi everyone! Today we are going to talk about colours and how you can incorporate them into your craft. Colours can be used in lots of different ways. You can wear different colours to help give off certain vibes, to help make you feel a certain way, or to celebrate something. You can also use colours in ritual. You could use a specifically altar cloth or decorate your altar in a certain colour for a particular ritual. If you are casting a spell you can also incorporate different colours to effect your spell in a certain way. Colours are a very easy way to instill change with very minimal effort.

Red

So red is best for anything that has to do with sex, passion, warding, and vigor. It is exceptionally good for sex magick. It is associated with Tuesday, the herb chili, the planet mars, the element fire, and the root chakra. If you’re a taurus, gemini, leo, sagittarius, or capricorn you may want to make this one of your power colours. If you’re decorating your altar for Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Lammas, or Mabon red is your colour

Orange

Orange is great for anything that has to do with justice and leadership. It is best for any magick that has to do with Justice. So maybe you want to do a spell to help your local police force find a criminal, etc. It is associated with the herb oregano, the planet mars, and the sacral chakra. Orange is also a great colour to decorate your altar with around Samhain.

Yellow

Yellow is a great colour for anything to do with friendship or exams. Friendship magick is what it is best for though. So if you’re having a conflict with a friend and you want to find a solution than yellow is your best help. It is associated with the herb citronella, the element air, the planet mercury and the sun, and the solar plexus/navel chakra. If you’re a taurus yellow is one of your power colours. If you’re decorating your altar for Lammas or Mabon Yellow is your colour.

Green

Green is great for anything to do with changing attitudes, weather, prosperity, and is best for fertility magick. It is associated with thursday, the herbs irish moss and feverfew, the planet uranus, and the heart chakra. If you’re a cancer, leo, aquarius, or pisces then green is one of your power colours. If you’re decorating your altar for Yule, Ostara, Litha, or Lammas then you’ll want to make sure you include the colour green.

Blue

Blue is great for anything to do with your health, home, confidence, and wisdom. It is best for health and confidence magick. It is associated with Thursday, the herbs rosemary and thistle, the element water, the planet jupiter, and the throat chakra. If you’re a gemini, libra, or aquarius then blue is one of your power colours.

Purple

Purple is best for occult knowledge, power, psychic awareness, and blessings. It is associated with Wednesday, the herbs chives and lavender, the planets jupiter and neptune, and the third eye chakra.

Pink

Pink is great for anything to do with love or harmony but it best known for love magick (make sure your love magick is not manipulating anyone’s will though). It is associated with Friday, the herb red clover, and the planet venus. If you’re an aries then pink is one of your power colours.

White

White is great for peace and purification. It is best known for protection magick. It is associated with the herb chamomile, the moon, and the crown chakra. If you’re an aries or pisces then white is one of your power colours. If you’re decorating your altar for imbolc or ostara you’ll want to use white.

Black

Black is great for protection and is best known for curse-breaking magick. It is associated with the planets saturn and pluto. If you’re a virgo, libra, or scorpio then black is one of your power colours. If you’re decorating your altar for Samhain you’ll definitely want to include black.

Brown

Brown is great for anything to do with work, animals, travel, and building. It is best for work magick. For example if you need to come up with a new project at work then you might want to try using brown. It is associated with the herbs mandrake and ginger, the element earth, and the planet pluto. If you’re a cancer, scorpio, or capricorn then brown is one of your power colours. If you are decorating your altar for Mabon then brown will be a great colour.

Silver

Silver is great for gambling and is best known for luck magick. It is associated with Monday, the herb eyebright, and the moon. If you’re decorating your altar for Ostara then you’ll want to use silver.

Gold

Gold is great for beauty and is best known for money magick. It is associated with Sunday, the herb pennyroyal, and the sun. If you’re a virgo or sagittarius then gold is one of your power colours.

Grey

Grey is great for patience and is best known for ancestor magick. So if you’re trying to get in contact with your ancestors grey is the colour for you. It is associated with Saturday, the herb sage, and the planet mercury.

Rainbow

Having rainbows around are great for anything to do with faeries (attracting, communicating, spells, rituals, etc). If you’re decorating your altar for beltane you may want to incorporate rainbows in your decor.

Peacock Ore

Peacock ore is all about happiness and joy. It is meant to bring you more positivity and to bring happiness to those around you. One of the best things about this crystal is that is gives you the ability to see and appreciate all the joy that it around you. It also helps you see that all is how it should be. It helps you see that everything is up to how you perceive it. If you are using the right perspective (which this stone encourages) then you’ll see there is nothing wrong in your life. Along with it bringing happiness it also helps ground your nervous energy.

This stone is really great when you combine it with chakra healing. This is because even when you use it on one chakra it positively affects them all. It is actually so good at healing chakras that it is nicknamed the chakra stone. It is most connected with the third eye. If you hold this crystal to your third eye while meditating it can help open up your intuition and awaken your inner sight.

If you are going to be doing any magick with peacock ore you’re going to want to do magick that has to do with bringing happiness and positive emotions in general. It’s great for self love magick and magick to remove stress. This is also a great crystal to have handy if you’re going to be doing any divination.

Starseed Alien Race: Pleiades

Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a post about various alien races (I was trying to find info about a particular race and was struggling so it turned me off for a bit) and thought it would be fun to dive back into that. Today I thought we would talk about the pleiadians. From what I can gather they seem to be a relatively well-known race due to the fact that out of all the starseeds on earth the pleiadians are the majority. Anywho, let’s dive in.

First lets talk about where they are located. The pleiadians originally were from Avalon which was part of the Lyra constellation. However when the dark reptilians destroyed their home (a story for another day) they moved to what is now called pleiadian star system. This star system is supposedly 444 light-years away from Earth. They exist anywhere between the 3rd dimension and the 9th dimension.

When it comes to appearance they are thought to look a lot like us humans. This is because humans and pleiadians both come from Lyra originally. They are thought to be very attractive and have very symmetrical features.

Here are some random fun facts about the pleiadians. So firstly in comparison to the andromedans and the arcturians, the pleiadians are actually quite a young race. Pleiadians serve us humans as an example of what we will become as we evolve and they’re here to help us achieve that. Here on earth we have a lot of male and female energies but Pleiadian energy is mostly masculine. What’s even more interesting is females tend to have more masculine energy than the males do.

Now let’s start talking about the different signs that you may be a pleiadian starseed!

Sign #1 You have a hard time expressing your emotions

If you are a pleiadian starseed you may find that you keep your emotions to yourself a lot. This is likely due to the fact that you are so busy trying to please others you don’t seem to have the time to worry about how you’re feeling. All of these pent up emotions also makes you a bit sensitive making it so you aren’t very good at taking criticism. This ignoring of your emotions can also cause resentment and make you passive aggressive as you are hoping someone will notice how you’re actually feeling.

Sign #2 You are an Empath

If you’re a pleiadian you may find that being around tension and anger (any negative emotion really) can make you feel physically ill. You tend to absorb the emotions from others around you which can actually cause blocks in your energy. You tend to release these buildups by crying. You may also find that you get a lot of throat chakra related issues like coughing, sore throat, etc if you are not given the opportunity to express yourself.

Sign #3 You’re a natural healer

This is a really important sign of being a pleiadian. You are such a natural healer that you don’t even have to be healing purposefully. It is quite possibly that you have been healing others without even knowing it. Your presence can bring inner peace and help alleviate pain.

Sign #4 You are very intuitive

Your intuitive abilities are unmatched. Your gut feelings should always be trusted.

Sign #5 You are really great at communication

Public speaking is your forte. Since communication is a two-way street you are also great at listening and giving advice.

Sign #6 You have an unwavering faith

Since childhood you have been really interested in finding your purpose and find more out about spirituality. While it is quite likely you won’t favour abrahamic religions you will likely find that you have a faith of some sort (possibly just an eclectic mash up of beliefs).

Sign #7 You are prone to using escapism techniques

These techniques could be anything from substance abuse, sexual escapades, or simply excessive use of the internet.

Sign #8 You are female

Most Pleiadians are reincarnated as females (however there are male starseeds, they may look more androgynous though). They are known for their beautiful almond shaped eyes. They are known for being highly attractive and are very enticing to others.

Sign #9 You are a nature lover

You are very much connected to nature especially animals. Animals enjoy being around you. You will find they you are very good at calming down animals and taming them.

Sign #10 Your career is related to communication, ecology, spirituality, psychology, childcare, or healing

If you aren’t working in one of these fields then you are likely involved in some other way like volunteering.

Sign #11 You do not understand gender roles

You view your partner as your peer/equal and you expect them to feel the same way about you. The fact that there is inequality between the sexes here on earth crazy. There is a decent chance you may not identify as heterosexual; and even if you do you’re not super worried about labeling yourself that way.

All About Auras

I’m sure many of you have heard of auras as they are something joked about a lot. When you think of something really hippie or metaphysical you probably think of auras. Do you actually know what they are though? They make more sense then you would think. People naturally give off certain vibes. Some people make you feel nervous, some give you joy, some make you mad. This all ties back to a person’s aura. So even if you don’t believe in them you are experiencing them on an emotional level.

Auras are an electromagnetic field that surrounds people, animals, and things. It may sound a bit crazy but even scientists recognize that everything gives off it’s own energy. This is the same. So, now that we know the basics lets get a little more in depth. So an aura has 7 layers. If you’ve read some of my older blog posts about chakras, or have seen this week’s monday video on my youtube channel, you’ll have some background knowledge. So the 7 layers are linked back to our 7 chakras. The first layer is the physical layer which ties back to the root chakra. This layer is connected to your physical health, pain, and pleasure. The next layer is the emotional layer which is connected to the sacral chakra. After that there is the mental layer which is connected to your solar plexus/navel chakra. Your fourth layer is called the astral layer. It is connected to your heart chakra and evidently about love. The astral layer is the layer in between the bottom three and the top three, so it is said to connect the two together. The next layer is called the spiritual layer. It is connected to your throat chakra. It relates back to your spiritual health and connects you to the universe. The sixth layer is called the celestial layer. It is connected to your third eye. It focuses on your intuition. The last layer is called “I Am” layer. It is connected to the crown chakra. This layer is about your potential connection with the divine.

Your aura is never just one colour at a time. It is a collective of colours that can express how one is feeling on all the different layers. The brightness of your aura can also be indicative of how you’re feeling. Something bright is more on the happy, joyful side. Where something dark or dull may have more negative attributes. Also, if you are in a rough time in your life and your aura is not looking the best you don’t have to worry about being stuck with that aura for the rest of your life. As you and the situations you are in change so does your aura. However if you feel like your aura could use a little TLC you can always cleanse it. You can cleanse your aura through meditation or smudging, just to name two methods.

Now, you’re probably wondering “can I look at my own aura?”. The answer to this is, with practice, yes. The easiest way to do this is to lay your hand against a white wall, paper, or any surface really. You want to look at your hand and let your eyes relax. If you’ve ever done a puzzle that has a 3D image you can see by relaxing your eyes, it is the same idea. Another way to think of it is to let your eyes zone out. Eventually you will begin to see a colour along the edges on your fingers. This is your aura. You can also practice by looking at pictures of people in front of a white background. Eventually, with practice, you will be able to see auras without the white backdrop.

So you know what auras are now, you know how to see your’s and other’s auras, but what do the different colours mean? I’ll leave some links for you to find lists of colours and their meanings.

Citrine

Natural citrine does not hold on to negative energies but rather dissipates it. This makes citrine a great protective crystal. It is one of two crystals that doesn’t need to be cleared or cleansed. This stone promotes imagination and creativity.

This crystal is most known for bringing money your way and also maintaining said money. It attracts wealth, prosperity, and all things good. It is also a crystal that encourages you to be of goodwill and makes you more generous with sharing your wealth.

This crystal is also known for helping people in their professions. It helps interactions for those in sales and other similar financial careers. It is fortifying for those in healing careers and stimulates work in government fields. It also boosts creativity for those who are artists.

If you are having interpersonal relationship problems with family, friends, partners, you name it, then this is a great crystal for you. It helps smooth out conflict and promotes solutions.

If you carry this crystal around it will bring love and happiness to you. It will also shield you from those who would otherwise break your heart.

This crystal with its yellow hue is great for balancing the naval/solar plexus chakra as well.

Despite all these amazing traits of citrine it is not recommended for those with a temper because it can amplify that emotion and make one aggressive. It should also be avoided if you are one to slander or gossip.

Green Obsidian

Green obsidian is used a lot during reiki to help balance the heart chakra specifically but also the throat chakra too. This stone removes hooks and ties caused from other people. It is great for treating the gallbladder and the heart. Not only is it great for relaxation and stress but it helps ease insomnia, protects you from nightmares, promotes the ability to flow with change, it promotes confidence, and helps you with the idea that everything is alright.

This stone is great for people who want personal counselling but don’t seem to be getting anywhere as it will help them really tackle their problems and help them become more self reliant. It is also great at keeping people away that will only drag you down with their own personal crises. Keep this crystal on you if you work with people (especially troubled ones) to keep your energies light and positive.

Lastly, if you worship Gaia, like myself, and you want to have some sort of tribute to her on your altar or make a little gaia jar this is a great crystal to put in it!

Amethyst

Amethyst is used in many ways but it’s main use is protection. It is linked to the crown chakra so it can help balance that chakra as well by purifying the mind and clearing negative thoughts. These negative thoughts can come from stress and anxiety which makes it great to help with those troubles as well. Where the stone is also associated with abundance it is good specifically for work related stress; it gets rid of stress while attracting prosperity.  Amethyst can be used to increase psychic awareness, to sharpen the ‘sixth sense’. Because of this, many people keep a crystal with their I-Ching, tarot, or Rune tools. It is considered a very spiritual stone.

An amethyst in the family room can assist in familial bonding time, and provide the confidence and calm necessary for open communication. Amethyst in the office will bring intuition for making tough, gut decisions in business, and stress-relief for long work days. Placing an amethyst somewhere in the bathroom is another way to relieve anxiety during a soothing bath.

Weekly Tarot Spread: Balancing and Cleansing the Solar Plexus Chakra

So today we are doing a reading on our solar plexus chakras. The last 2 weeks we did the root chakra and the sacral chakra. All have been really great readings and I’m just as happy with this one!

My favourite part of all three of these chakra spreads is how uplifting the final pulled card is. All of the cards speak and beautiful results that I am so excited to experience.

Card to represent of solar plexus chakra: Three of Swords

My solar plexus chakra gets left out in the open, unguarded, unbalanced, ungrounded. This leaves it open to attack. The vulnerability of my solar plexus chakra has left me hurt physically, mentally, and spiritually. It’s main damage being mentally.

How I can better use my logic: Eight of wands

I am going to have rapid action and quick decisions coming up. I will need to use my logic and creativity together to achieve the best results.

A way I can be more proactive: Nine of Cups Reversed

I need to think more carefully about what I really want from life. I also need to focus on my relationships with family, friends, and the community. Once I find my inner joy and build these relationships I will naturally become more proactive.

Good way to balance this chakra: Two of Cups

I need to find trust in my relationships with the divine and my partner. For my partner will fill my empty cup and the goddess will walk my path along with me.

Result of balancing this chakra: The Ace of Swords

When I balance this chakra I will have a breakthrough. I’ll find the truth and see the world from a whole new view. This will open up so many possibilities and opportunities for me.

Weekly Tarot Spread: Balancing and Clearing the Sacral Chakra

So last week I did the reading on my root chakra and today I did my reading for my sacral chakra. If you haven’t checked out the reading for my root chakra then I’ll firstly say, you should check it out. Also, I am doing the chakra readings as a follow up to me learning my reiki 1 and 2 placements.

One thing I have noticed is the more and more I do the readings, the more and more I am able to intuitively read the cards. My only struggle I’m having is cards that don’t show up often for me in readings and when they are reversed. I’m getting better though and I’m so excited about it!

What I pulled

Card to represent my sacral ckakra: Eight of Swords

My sacral chakra is blocked. I have swords all around me but I can’t reach due to being tied up. This all is to say I have the tools to open my sacral chakra but I’ve been unable to find and grasp them. Due to the card being a sword the reason I can’t reach the tools seems to be a mental issue rather than not being able to physically get the tools.

How to better channel my creative energy: Death

Like last week to reach my full potential I need to let the old me (the me that doesn’t doesn’t believe in herself and is too caught up in what others think) die and birth a new me. A me with confidence and happiness. When I do this I will find the creative energy I lack

Practical way I can deepen my relationships: Knight of Pentacles Reversed

When in reverse this card is about routine, being bored, and needing a change in scenery. This means for me that I can deepen my relationships by being spontaneous and changing things up. I’m lacking a social life because I’m so focused on school or work.

A good way for me to balance this chakra: Three of Wands reversed

The three of wands talks about going on a personal journey but not receiving the achievements you were hoping for due to delays or road blocks, But instead of giving up I need to keep working on my self journey because eventually I will get there and when I do, my sacral chakra will be balanced.

Result of balancing this chakra: The World

This card talks of a great unity and wholeness. It symbolizes the moment the inner and outer worlds (self and other) become a single entity. It talks about reaching enlightenment and all efforts are paying off. This is saying when my sacral chakra opens I will find enlightenment and I will feel complete and whole.

Lastly, as we now major arcana cards represent great importance which means creativity and the results of my sacral chakra being balanced are most important and these two cards are both directly effecting the state of my sacral chakra in this moment.
